Provides continuing education for Certified Medication Aides. Prerequisite for this class is a current Certified Medication Aide Certificate. Regulations require that you update your certification every two years. The CMA Certificate does not have to be current, but cannot be lapsed by one year or more. Paper work is sent to KDADS after the course ends. It takes KDADS a minimum of 2 weeks to process the update. Class is offered every month. This course is KDADS approved. For example, We Care Online has a class from Jan. 1 through Jan 7th. You have that open window to get ten hours in at your convenience. You can finish early, just not late. Paperwork will not go to KDADS until the day after the class ends.
It is a ten-hour course as required by KDADS. You must put ten hours into the class.
You can enroll in our courses by paying a non-refundable registration fee up front and you can then make payments on the balance. You can make the payments any way you choose at any time you choose as long as the course is paid before the course start date.
For scheduled courses, balances must be paid in full prior to the course start date. If payment in full has not been received, you will be taken out of the course. You will forfeit your Registration Fee.
