March is national kidney month! The kidneys are a fascinating organ in our body that contribute to many functions of keeping us healthy. They act mainly as a filter for certain fluids within our system. Although we may not actively think about our kidneys and all that they do for our body, we should consider them when making healthy lifestyle choices.
