It is not intended to replace a registered or licensed professional who has additional training beyond the outcomes identified for this course. No prerequisite. Class is offered each month.
Provides continuing education for the Medication Aide II. Pre-requisite for this class is a current Medication Aide II license.
This course is designed for Kansas CNAs who have not met the requirement of being employed to perform nursing tasks in the past 24 consecutive months. This course consists of five hours didactic training and five hours laboratory/clinical.
This Home Health Aide course provides opportunities to work in the Home setting, including Home Health and state aide to the elderly and disabled.
Becoming a Nurse Aide Provides opportunities to work in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, and many other health care positions where patient assistance is needed.
Provides continuing education for Certified Medication Aides. Pre-requisite for this class is a current Certified Medication Aide Certificate and be an active Certified Nurse Aide Certificate. Regulations require that you update your certification every two years.
