Home Health Aide Reading Test Information

All students are required by the State of Kansas to provide a copy of a reading requirement for the

Certified Medication Aide and Home Health Aide courses.

 

Accepted Reading Requirement:

 

**UNOFFICIAL COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT Passing grade in college level English or other college courses

Students may take one of the reading tests above from a local technical or community colleges in your area if you do not have one of the requirements above.

To set up a reading test: 

You can schedule a remote test with We Care Online here. We Care Online charges $40 for an individual test you can take at home.

Or, you can call the local tech/community college in your area to schedule the exam.  Most reading tests can be taken within a week of calling to set up an exam.  The cost is approximately $20.

To send the results:

The student or the college may send the results to us directly using the Upload Documents button.

Once the results are received, students will receive a confirmation email that the requirement was accepted or declined within 7 days of receiving the documentation.  Please watch your email that you provided upon enrollment for the confirmation.

We Care Online cannot confirm a verbal test score over the phone without first receiving a copy of the document by fax or email for review.

 

Yes, unofficial college transcripts are also accepted for any college class.  Send a copy of the transcript to the contact information below.

 

Please Note: CNA Classes, High School ACT and SAT scores are NOT accepted by the state.
